It is our goal to raise our animals without commercial or synthetic medications or vaccinations. They eat a healthy diet and forage our unsprayed pastures freely. They also keep their magnificent horns as they were perfectly created. We manage our animals as stress free (to them and us) as possible, and nurture their innate immune systems. Someone once asked me "So, you don't treat them when they're sick?" in a horrified tone. My reply is, yes, of course we treat our animals if they're sick, but first of all, they are rarely sick because of the way we raise them, and if they do get sick, I know how to treat it with herbs. To many that is impossible. Most think that herbs are something fru-fru, small time, minuscule to "dabble" with to address minor issues at best. To the contrary, herbs can be quite powerful if used properly! Here's a question to get you thinking: Can you think of a plant that is "poisonous" that you've been told not to eat or even touch? Probably so! So, if plants have the power to do major bad, wouldn't you think it's possible for them to have the power to do major good as well?
